A Work in Progress!

So, I've been doing a major overhaul of our blog. Major.  But even though I'm in over my head, I'm learning alot and I love that.

I'm hoping that it'll be more helpful to you when you stop by and express who we are a little better when I'm done. If you have any comments or suggestions - let me know!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

I am so excited that Spring is finally really here. Springtime makes me feel especially hopeful and I always look forward to new beginnings...today was a warm, sunny day and I enjoyed working in the yard, walking with the dog and seeing the first flowers of the year!

Happy Holidays!

We've been doing alot of fun holiday things this year.  We went to the lighted boat parade in Alexandria, VA - and Santa showed up on his boat!  :)  There was a HUGE line of parents and kids waiting in the freezing cold for their chance to tell Santa their wishes! It was so much fun! BRRR  We also made our yearly visit to our favorite Christmas tree farm and chose our tree.  It's amazing how hard a decision it is to pick a tree! ;) Maybe we'll have a little one to help us choose next year!  Hoping you have a wonderful holiday season filled with love and peace - and a happy New Year!
