The Annual Christmas Tree Hunt

Like alot of families, every year our favorite tradition is to go find our Christmas tree, cut it down and bring it home to decorate.  We love to go to our favorite tree farm with the dog,  drink hot cider and watch the kids help their parents choose a tree.  It's a fun time of year and here in Maryland,  it's also usually pretty nice outside and not too cold.

So, here are a couple of shots of our day yesterday...John and I are looking forward to Christmas and the year ahead and hope that you have a wonderful holiday too! <3

Dogs!

Do you have a dog that you love? We do!

John and I brought Shorty home three years ago - we wanted to be past the puppy stage (read: potty-training stage LOL) before we brought our baby home. In that time, he's sort of become our baby. Our spoiled, loveable Yorkie baby.

He is stubborn like most Yorkies. He likes things his way - he must sit on your lap a certain way to chew his bones - he doesn't always listen very well, and ok sometimes just ignores us.

He's also the most loveable little guy ever.  He loves people and kids and other dogs. He even likes our cat, who is 16 and will have nothing to do with him. Nothing. But he keeps trying. :)
