Waiting Patiently is Hard...

As much as I try to be a patient person, I have to admit I'm not always as patient as I would like. Especially while driving, or waiting in line at the grocery store.  LOL  So, this part of our adoption journey can be hard...waiting.

As any adoptive parent will tell you, there are many hoops to jump through on the way.  Homestudies, physicals, background checks, profiles to write and so many other items to cross off the list.  Those days are busy and you work your checklist, get things done and breath a sigh of relief when you're "done."  Only...you're not "done." :) Now the waiting begins...waiting and hoping to be parents and waiting for that one special woman who will choose you to be the parents of her child.  Now, her journey is harder and there's no doubt about it.  So,  we try to wait patiently. Planning for the future of a baby that we already love and can't wait to meet.   And waiting to hear from that incredible person we hope to get to know and include in our future too!

Our adoption journey is teaching me to be more patient and to have faith that when it's meant to be, it will all fall into place!

We hope you are well and that you'll contact us - even if you just have questions or need someone to listen...
